Since 2019, TRIAD has been entertaining crowds throughout Ohio with its energetic stage show and eclectic mix of spiced up classic and modern rock as well as popular country music. This event-based party band has performed for community events such as Final Friday in Downtown Mansfield, holiday shows for WMFD Rockin’ New Year’s Eve and shoulder-to-shoulder St. Patrick’s Day & Halloween performances at various venues, fundraisers for children’s charities and first responders, county fairs, campgrounds, wineries, birthday parties, literal on-the-river summer jams and other private bookings. TRIAD brings a legitimate rock show to your event without any tired gimmicks or phoned-in performances.

John Gobble – Vocals
John is a charismatic frontman and multi-instrumentalist himself taking center stage for the band. His versatility as a singer lends itself to TRIAD performing a wide array of songs. Comfortable in front of a large crowd or around a campfire, John exemplifies the rock and roll spirit that is TRIAD.

Shannon “Shep” Shepherd – Guitar
Shep is a seriously talented player and tone-fanatic that brings a lot of great songs to life for the band. Whether it’s ripping a Van Halen or Ozzy solo one moment to delicately navigating a classic rock staple the next, TRIAD is never left wanting when it comes to iconic guitar parts. In addition to guitar, Shep provides backup vocals.

Kevin Yeo – Bass
Kevin is the secret weapon who brings a guitar-player mindset to the four-string attack for the band. You may not realize why it sounds so good but it’s because this guy is playing all those parts you never realized meant so much to the music. While also playing a mean bass, Kevin also supports John with vocals.

Scott VanGilder – Drums
Scott is the pocket and groove driving the good-time party bus down the road. A passionate and energetic player, he does more than just get the job done – Scott plays with a vitality and visibility of fun not always seen with drummers.

Charley King – Support

Charley works behind the scenes helping as a sound engineer, equipment handler, and more. He provides support to the band where needed and spends time hanging out with the Triad Tribe and others in the crowd. We couldn’t do it without him.
